Foster Care

The Foster Care Service within Carolina House Trust was established in 2002. It is a key area of service within the organisation and one that continues to grow and develop.

Throughcare and Aftercare Services

Throughcare and Aftercare Services for young people of Dundee are delivered through a Partnership between Dundee City Council and Carolina House Trust. This has been in existence since 2003. This partnership was recently reviewed and a new structure has been in place since January 2010.

Tenancy Support Services

Carolina House Trust works in partnership with Dundee City Council’s Throughcare & Aftercare Team to provide support to young people leaving the care system.

Supported Lodgings

Carolina House Trust is the oldest children’s charity in Scotland. The Trust has just undertaken, under the auspices of Dundee City Council, to set up its first Adult Service - a Supported Lodgings Scheme The new scheme is only for Dundee City  young people who are leaving care.

Boat Project: “Carolina 1815 of Dundee”

Carolina House Trust has maritime connections the charity at its inception came about as a direct result of the ferry disaster on the river Tay in 1815. Over the years the trust has been privileged to take advantage of its association with the River Tay when it was linked with The Families Pride fishing boat.
